THANK YOU to the PTO for funding Brain Pop and for purchasing a new Mac laptop for the Village School. Your support is appreciated!
Sixth graders will use the new laptop for a poetry project in which they will be reciting favorite poems on Voicethreads and/or podcasts.
Fifth graders are starting their Early American Idol projects in which they nominate an early American, find out all about them and create a speech that is delivered by the candidate in a blabber. We'll all select our school's second Early American Idol in June. Check back for details and check out last year's idol at the link on the bottom of this page.
Fourth graders are learning about Canada by reading picture books from different regions. Soon we will be creating our own on-line encyclopedia of all things Canadian.
